Jun 07, 2008 · Ok here is my problem..I want to watch blu-ray movies on my samsung LCD tv. I have a PS3 hooked up by HDMI.(dont worry everythings in the right slot). But it wont work. it says no signal detected. Its wierd though i see the home screen and everything but when the movie starts up it says no signal detected.Its like the blu-ray doesnt work!!!!
After a while of fiddling with it, I found the bluetooth section in the options, but when selecting the PS3 controller it wouldn't let me hit the connect button. Any help is very appreciated. CLOSED For anyone else having this issue, it seems you have to hook the controller up to a PS3 before the PSTV will recognize it. If it is a new ps3, simply plug it in with both the HDMI cable and the AV cables that it came with, then change the display settings, switch over to HDMI on the TV and accept the changes.
